Start a Zoot Shooters Club

The formation of American Zoot Shooters Association (AZSA) clubs is the best way to expand our organization. Additional clubs allow for people to get involved in Zoot Shooters on a local level without the need to travel to participate in our sport. Currently we have five clubs in four US states and one in Italy. We need more!

The Society for the Preservation of the Golden Era is a brand new, member based, non-profit, organization that strives to remember the dress, manners, music and lifestyles of the 20s, 30s, 40s, and 50s though regular dances, dinners, individual chapter meetings and other events.

Traveling to the Old Country

Zoot Shooters has its first non-USA club. Welcome Forty-Five Shooting Club at Forte Canarbino Shooting Center in La Spezia, Italy! Their first AZSA meeting is October 24. Check our club page for more details.

Tennessee Club

~May 5th, 2010

Another club has joined the AZSA. Welcome ORSA Zoot Shooters! They are located in Oak Ridge, TN and led by Chris “The Chopper”. Their first capers are right around the corner…May 16. They will hold more every third Sunday thereafter. Please visit our Club page for more info and to contact them.

Texas Capers!

The Green Mountain Untouchables have announced their match dates. These are SASS Wild Bunch matches incorporating Zoot Shooters. Kevin “Dick Tracy” was quoted, “If we have more AZSA members come I’ll create a ‘Zoot Shooters’ class so they don’t have to shoot the shotgun part of each stage if they do not want.” For more information, please visit our club page.
